WPT World Championship: Rettenmaier Wins, Mizrachi Finishes 3rd

<strong>Marvin Rettenmaier</strong> started the World Poker Tour (WPT) $25,000 World Championship main event 6-handed final table with a major edge in the chiplead and he did not miss out on winning it either.

Only the 6-handed final table remained to be played on Day 7 of the WPT $25,000 World Championship main event, with Marvin Rettenmaier in the chiplead:

They shuffled up and dealt on Level 25 (5,000/30,000/60,000) and it was Trevor Pope to be eliminated first a level later. He went all-in preflop with 1.46 million in chips and got called by Philippe Ktorza.

Following Pope, Steve O'Dwyer and Nick Schulman were also eliminated, before they played it down to the heads-up. It was Rettenmaier who sent Michael Mizrachi to the rail, calling his all-in on a pair of 3s with AT and developing to a full house on the board.

The relatively long HU play brought about shifts in the chiplead, with Ktorza having an edge of about 8 million on multiple occasions but Rettenmaier managed to come back and entered the final hand on Level 33 (50,000/200,000/400,000) with his initial chiplead of 2 million. They shoved preflop:
