A player pool of about 220,000 players were online at PokerStars' 33,000 tables hoping that they might just be the one at the milestone 50 billionth hand which would get them a $5,200 WCOOP Main Event buy-in, $500 as many times as many VPP they earned in the last 50 hands, and tthe winner of the pot would also win a prize of $50,000, which could start a player's career very easily.
PokerStars loves the tension of the moment, they greeted the 6 players at the table witho a flash animatin then they had to wait for a few minutes until spectators arrived from the other tables. This might have been the longest wait throughout their poker careers so far.
Of course all the players went all-in and the winner turned out to be the German player 'tbvle' with pocket queens, winning a total of $56,140. Congratulations to him/her, you can watch the whole hand below.
