With some sarcasm, one could say <em>Team PokerStars</em> will soon have more sponsored Pros than the number of people playing at the room voluntarily. 15 players have been added to the lot.

PokerStars added 15 new Pros to their Team Online, well-known and not-so-well-known alike. They had been picked from 4,500 applicants. Here follows the list:

These stats are provided by PTR and they do not include MTT and SNG results. As far as cash games are concerned, these pros have winnings of $1,385,227 and played 22,258,072 hands in total. On average, their collective results are $98,945 in winnings and 1,661,291 hands played online.

Most poker forum posters are somewhat surprised seeing this list, although the acceptance of certain names into the Team, like WizardOfAhhs and PeachyMer are unquestionably righteous.
