‘Durrrr’ and ‘jungleman12’ have, after a longer pause, clashed again, playing 1,099 hands of the Durrrr Challenge 2 at the $200/$400 NLHE tables, making it 19,335 hands into the 50,000 required. ‘Jungleman’ started with a reassuring profit of $1,211,530, although he started losing his edge soon as ‘durrrr’ succeeded in going up around $111,000 in the early stages of the session.

Cates, however, soon made up for it and even turned the tide, finishing the session up $39,797, meaning a total lead of $1,251,059 for him.


There were two six figures pots during the match, the larger one being $108,574: ‘jungleman’ 3-bet $4,800 on ‘durrrr’s’ preflop raise and kept betting on each street on the 7 J K 9 6 board. ‘Durrrr’ called every time and their stacks were in the middle on the river.

Despite the weak start, ‘jungleman’ definitely dominated the session; no matter how ingenious was ‘durrrr’, calling him for the $108,000 pot, he was surprisingly passive overall, and it did not work out well against the aggressive Cates.
