Isildur1 Wins 1.5 Milllion Dollars in 48 Hours

On the 9th September, Isildur1 disappeared from PokerStars and only reappeared on the 9th December. We know little about the reasons for the three-month gap, but it seems it did him good, doing almost as well as he used to in the very beginning of his career. 
 

Although Viktor Blom was the biggest loser on Friday with a $119,618 loss, the machine started serious work on Saturday. The Swedish PokerStars pro won $620,598 on Saturday, but as it turned out, this was just a warm-up for Sunday. 
 

The Sunday session mainly consisted of $100/$200 PLO heads-up for Isildur1. His first opponent was Brian 'aba20' Townsend, from whom he managed to win $180,000. After him came 'Fake Love888', who is mostly beleived to be Patrik Antonius. Of course, this did not make Isildur1 not want to take on Phil 'MrSweets28' Galfond on a multi-table heads-up match at the same time. Blom managed to win both battles: Fake Love888 lost $113K and MrSweets28 lost $136K to the Swede. 
 

After these sessions, Blom logged out of PokerStars, but appeared again in the evening and continued from where he left it: he played against 'MrSweets28' and 'VietRussian' and wonn around $500,000. 
 

Isildur1 finished the day with a $952,682 profit, with his weekend winnings making $1,573,280. 
 

With his $1,453,582 December profits, Blom is already ranked first on the monthly list of online winners, 'Ben86' following with $305,062. 
 

With the return of Isildur1, the PokerStars high stakes section has livened up drastically, and we can expect more action toward the end of the month. Nothing proves this better, than the fact that Isildur1 has already started his Monday session.
