Fricke claims that the cards become marked due to their storage conditions as the A is on the bottom of the pack and it is warped under the weight of the rest. Therefore, the pro can admittedly easily recognise the aces of spades, gaining an unfair advantage over his opponents.

Fricke added on his Twitter that once he even pulled off a bluff he would have never dared to try, had he not known his opponent had the A .
This is not the first time players complain about the cards in Las Vegas; for instance, a deck was found short of one during the last WSOP.
