Ray Bitar
Rafe Furst was the first to comment on his case claiming that he has nothing to hide, nor morally, personally nor socially, and he thanked his supporters who still stand beside him.
Yesterday, Ray Bitar also gave a brief interview, in which he explained a few things. He said he was unable to comment on the case because of two reasons. The first was that the lawsuit against him didn't allow public statements about the case and the second that he worked hard day and night to make things right about FTP. According to Bitar, this is what he is currently doing. He also noted that it was very hard for him not to comment seeing the many derogatory remarks around the poker community worldwide, but it would hinder the process of FTP's acquisition.
He added that his life changed dramatically since the Black Friday and that he is currently working in cooperation with the DoJ in completing their investigation and he is aiding FTP to survive. Furthermore, he apologized to all who have been affected by the events after the notorious day, and said it is his most important job right now is to successfully recoup all players' losses.
Bitar didn't actually reveal anything new through this interview, and players worldwide were quite unaffected by the apology, some found it outright infuriating.
