An official event of the London Poker Festival, the BPA takes place at the Kensington Close Hotel. This is relocation from the Fox Poker Club; the new venue is able to host more attendants. Tickets for the show cost £39 or even free, should you be the lucky voter to win yours. Comedian Yianni Agisilaou will warm up the audience for the event that starts at 8.00 PM after a cocktail reception at 7.00 PM and before an optional £50 NLHE tournament at 9.00 PM. You can vote nominees like Neil Channing, Chris Moorman, Luke Schwartz or Phil Ivey in the eight categories. There are three additional awards, two of those being Player’s Choice and one Editor’s Choice. You can cast your vote at the official website until 10th September.
"This awards night is a special event for the British poker scene, as we honour those who have made outstanding contributions in the game, but it's also going to be a night where the poker playing public can come and meet their favourite players and watch the best players in the land receive their awards," Caselli commented the Awards, which are going to be one of the most prestigious among the London events of late.
