As you probably know, Blom won the latest SuperStar Showdown against Daniel ‘jungleman12’ Cates, last year’s biggest online high stakes winner. During the 2500 hands heads-up, Isildur1 profited $51,196. Ever since, he appears to be unstoppable: in just a matter of two days, he won over $600,000.

Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom
He played against Mike ‘gordo16’ Gordon and Sphinx87 on Monday, winning $228,000 from them in total. Against CardRunners instructor gordo16, he played 2,134 hands of $25/$50 PLO and won $159,000, even though losing a massive pot of $31,547 to his opponent.
Tuesday saw his clash with Phil ‘MrSweets28’ Galfond, with similar results: their session of $25/$50 PLO rewarded Isildur1 with $150,000, which Galfond summarised on his Twitter as “Ouch.” After taking a short break, Blom returned to settle Kanu7’s and Ashton ‘theASHMAN103’ Griffin’s hash, too. He won both HU matches, played in $25/$50-$50/$100 NLHE and $25/$50 PLO, respectively.
In all, Isildur1 has played 12,860 hands of high stakes poker since Sunday, building a $618,815 profit. It remains to be seen, however, if he finally manages to end his downswing or does his 2010 thing and loses his entire bankroll in a single session…
