Eastgate seems to have some not-so-minor problems with sports betting, and he even made prop-bets with his friends that he will owe them $20,000 in case he bets more than $2,000 on sports. Add that to the $1.7 million, ha-ha!
Eastgate formerly announced that he would retire from poker, got himself out of Team PokerStars, auctioned his 2008 WSOP Bracelet, and recently told public that he would return to poker, already taking part in EPT Copenhagen, and the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship.
Let's just hope he still does better in poker than in betting!
