Tom Dwan - Phil Ivey
During Poker After Dark's last episode, Ivey and Dwan agreed to play 100,000 $50K/$100K H.O.R.S.E. hands whenever Dwan wants to start. He paid $40,000 to Ivey already. If, however, Ivey refuses to start the challenge at any given time, he has to pay $1 million. Also, if Dwan loses money, for example $10 million, he only has to play 4% only, $400,000 to Ivey. However, if he wins $10 million, he can keep it all. Whether the challenge will be played online, live, or mixed, they haven't yet revealed further information.
This deal seems very generous and confident from Ivey, he clearly must not be afraid of his fellow pro. Maybe one can do things like this, if he is considered the best poker player in the world. Even though, many think that this challenge, even if it starts, will never get to the end, just like Dwan's other two pending challenges, the Durrrr Challenge 1&2.
