“When I spoke to PKR I was really impressed with the whole setup and the ideas that they have going forward, and I knew straight away I wanted to be part of it,” Cody said at the time of his signing to the room.

PKR has since indeed implemented a number of improvements, including the simplification of multi-tabling, yet the ways of the room and the young British pro now part.
“PKR’s one year association with Jake Cody has now come to its conclusion. We are proud to have worked with Jake over the last year and wish him the best of luck for the future both at and away from the felt. He is a huge talent, a class act and a pleasure to deal with,” PKR Media Manager Dan Grant commented.
Following James ‘james666’ Sudworth, who left in March, Cody is the second team pro member of PKR to leave this year. The team therefore dropped to 4 players: Vladimir ‘Beyne’ Geshkenbein, Sofia ‘welllbet’ Lövgren, Scott Shelley and Marc ‘Waswini’ Bariller still wear the PKR colours.
Whether Cody joins another room in the near future is as yet unclear.
