Niki Jedlicka
While in 2007, ‘KaiBuxxe’ topped the annual money list, besting the likes of Jason ‘pr1nnyraid’ Rosenkrantz ($2,236,807) and Phil Ivey ($1,994,048), under his own name, Jedlicka became one of the biggest losers with -$1,621,327, second only in losses to Guy Laliberté. He soon lost the majority of his bankroll, withdrew to lower stakes and, eventually, disappeared from the online poker sphere for a long while.
Since, Jedlicka has managed to rebuild his bankroll, reappeared at the online high stakes games but could not consistently remain there. Now, the Austrian appears to try to give it another shot: earlier this week, he played a major session under his ‘RealAndyBeal’ account on PokerStars and won $539,096 in only 24 hours. He profited from his strongest game of PLO.
To date, Jedlicka has been more or less breakeven in February, although played a relatively few hands only. His monthly result with his latest session so far is $538,926 in 7,649 hands. In case he remains active, he well be well worth to observe in the high stakes games, as he had become notorious for his entertaining, hyper-aggressive play style in the first place, being some sort of an ‘Isildur1’ in his own time.
It goes without saying that FTP also saw its share of high stakes action, with Jens ‘Ingenious89’ Kyllönen being the biggest winner of the period with $184,048. Speaking of ‘Isildur1’, Viktor Blom also appeared on the site for a major swing.
The biggest winners of the day were the following:
RealAndyBeal: $539,096 (2,330 hands)
MrSweets28: $217,825 (1,045)
Ingenious89: $184,048 (178)
