Pirone disclosed the news via his blog, where he also posted some personal statistics and graphs.
‘TPiranha’ is the first of the 22 players in the Hall of Fame, who primarily plays Fix Limit Hold’em. For reaching the mark of 5 million VPPs, he will be presented a customized TAG Heuer wristwatch, which will be handed to him at one of the upcoming VIP Club Live events. In addition, he now has access to direct support from PokerStars, provided by a senior support assistant through instant messenger.
“It’s one of my biggest accomplishments as a poker player, a reflection of all my hard work and dedication, and something I’m very proud of,” the SuperNova Elite writes in his post. The next stop is 10 million VPPs, to date achieved by online poker legend George ‘jorj95’ Lind alone.
