We calculated these stats by the following guidelines:
1. We took the July, August and September races and had a look at how much moneyback our players achieved by participating in our exclusive Rakerace.com promotions. The exact calculation method was as follows: Prize pool of given rake race divided by the total amount of rake generated by the players that got into the money in the rake race. This gives us the average race return percentages for the given month. After this, we calculated the average return percentages of the three rake races.
2. Besides the race return percentages, we took into consideration the normal rakeback amount available at the poker rooms (or the VIP system return percentages, respectively). We continued to use the data of only those players that participated in the rake races.
3. We got the poker room's full return percentages by adding the average rake race return to the normal rakeback (or VIP system) return percentages.
4. The above calculations have been repeated to get the results for players generating more than $1,000 rake per month separately.
Using the methods described, we received the following results:
Note: In the case of Unibet, we did not use the results of the previous three months, but only the data of the current 50% return exclusive promotion, as this is more important if you plan to change rooms now.
Besides the exclusive Rakerace.com race and the normal rakeback (or VIP system) return, we did not include any central or other promotion in our calculations, but these can naturally further increase your return percentages.
Conclusion:
- In the poker rooms that offer rake races, players can achieve about twice as much moneyback as in the ones without a rake race. This is where you could pose the question: is it worth sticking with the PokerStars VIP system, even if it provides much less return?
- In the three months that have been discussed, Purple Lounge was the poker room that provided players with the best return percentages.
- If we look at the networks these poker rooms belong to, we can put them in the following order considering rakeback percentages, starting from the biggest: Boss netwrok, Microgaming, iPoker, Ongame, PKR, PokerStars, Everest Poker.
It is encouraged to have a look at the above data and decide on a poker room accordingly. If you are thinking about joining a new poker room, it still might be worth considering to participate in one of the currently running rake races:
MyBet Poker: a member of the iPoker network, according to our current data, huge rakeback percentages can be achieved.
