As we have reported before, PokerStars have acquired Full Tilt Poker, and undertook the company's pending payments towards non-US players. The planned relaunch date for FTP is the 6th November.
Although FTP will continue to operate as a separate poker room, and have its main headquarters in Dublin, the company's licence will be registered at the Isle of Man, just like PokerStars. Because of this, to achieve maximum efficiency, the FTP servers and other belongings will operate from the Isle of Man.
The above mentioned objects have already arrived at PokerStars. As Eric Hollreiser, Director of Communications for PokerStars, told the media, the transportation of these objects could not be resolved via the usual air transport, so the company hired a Hercules military aircraft to do the job. Hollreiser also said, that a 200-member team will soon start work in Dublin, and they all expect the poker market to grow dramatically when FTP is up and running again.
