The top position of the list is owned by PokerStars, having to fear no-one, considering the average of 23,400 cash game players on last week only. The runner-up is the freshly re-launched FTP with 3,850 players, followed by iPoker with 2,750 and PartyPoker with 2,650.

While it would be an exaggeration to arrive to long term conclusions based on 24 hours, it is apparent that PartyPoker has a shot at even the 2nd place, as opposed to predictions. In four weeks in a row, they kept losing a large number of players, to a total of 56% of their pool with a 13% drop last week only. This gives even iPoker a chance to get ahead of FTP.
To sum up, PartyPoker, as long as it is capable of keeping the Bwin players, can become the main adversary to PokerStars.
