“Poker Heaven is now live on the MPN and their players can enjoy a wide variety of promotions and features designed for the casual player, including the highly successful Blazing Cannon, frequently hit Bad Beat Jackpot and the recently launched Achievements. Other recent changes made to enhance the player-friendly aspect of the network include increasing the amount guaranteed in the tournament schedule and the introduction of new Heads Up Blaze tables,” reads the press release from PokerHeaven.
“Poker Heaven are delighted to be a part of the MPN, a network which is committed to growth and to the long-term health of the poker ecology. At Poker Heaven the aim is to give players a truly special poker experience, and we’re confident that joining the MPN will help to achieve this,” PokerHeaven mother company HB Gaming Director Shaun Barron commented.
The cooperation is, among other reasons, likely a result of IPN parent company GTECH’s announcement last year that it aimed to focus on the regulated markets in the future, probably meaning the dissolution of the IPN network. GTECH online gambling subsidiary SPIELO G2 is currently operating five poker networks, four of which available in the regulated markets: Canadian Poker Network, Poker Club Italia, Spain Poker Network and Svenska Spel. IPN is present in the .com market and has been performing poorly of late.
As of today, MPN ranks 7th, Ongame is 12th and IPN is 19th on the .com networks and rooms traffic list.
