We have hosted our biggest rake race in September in one of the leading rooms of iPoker, Gala Poker. Players who registered to the room via Rakerace.com took part in two 15-day rake races with a total prize pool of $20,000.
In October, we will still offer the biggest prize pool on Gala Poker, but we also have an exclusive twist! The more you rake, the higher the prize pool will be!
Target cash race - the more you rake, the higher the prize pool will be!
In October, we will again host two rake races on Gala Poker. Both cash races will have a standard prize pool of $10,000. But here comes the twist in the story: you will need to achieve targets, which will increase the total prize pool of the race!
If the total contributed rake of all players exceeds $50.000 (on either of the October races), the prize pool will increase from $10,000 to $12,500.
If the total contributed rake of all players exceeds $60.000 (on either of the October races), the prize pool will increase from $12,500 to $15,000.
Also, the $10,000 leaderboard awards 25 players, the $12,500 and $15,000 leaderboards will see 40 players walk away with prizes! Therefore it pays off to play much in October, because more players can win more money!

Please note that since we receive rake data from Gala Poker in British pounds, the targets based on current exchange rates are the following:
Target 1: $50,000 contributed rake = £32,830
Target 2: $60,000 contributed rake = £39,396
As currency changes are possible, you are advised to check the actual targets in a currency exchange calculator.
Both October exclusive target cash races are open to players who register to Gala Poker via Rakerace.com. If you don't yet have an account on Gala Poker, you can create one here. Leaderboard rankings will be determined on the basis of the generated rake. Players need to generate at least $100 in rake in order to be eligible for prizes.
Players cannot achieve a cashback higher than 100% from the race. If a player fails to generate as much rake as his potential prize, that player will only receive the prize for the position behind him. For example if a player with $415 in rake finishes 7th, that player will receive a $400 prize instead of $500.
