Day 1 tournaments are running around the clock at Partypoker, which gives all players plenty of opportunities to advance to Day 2 of this massive event. Day 2 will take place on June 6, check out the details below!
Partypoker's Grand Prix Poker Tour (GPPT) is a successful live tournament series played at various football stadiums around the UK.
The GPPT also routinely makes stops at the online tables with huge guarantees and the next tournament is less then a week away!
The structure for the GPPT Online Leg is simple: Players can register to as many Online Day 1 tournaments as they wish and if they have chips afer 16 blind levels, they automatically advance to Day 2 of the tournament, which will kick off at 20:15 (CET) on June 6.
The tournament will also roll back two blind levels, so players can continue with deeper stacks on Day 2 and the blind levels will also be increased from 12 minutes to 16 minutes.
The $300,000 GPPT Online event in May was a huge success with a total of 3,216 players entering the event. In the end, it was Joao "joasimaobh" Simao who took down the tournament for $42,643.
There are four GPPT Online Day 1 tournaments running every day until June 4, with six more taking place on June 5 and seven more organized for June 6, so there are plenty of opportunities to qualify for the event.
Partypoker is also very ambitious regarding the future of the GPPT Online tournaments, they will increase the guaranteed prize pool by $100,000 every month that the guarantee is met and are aiming for a $1,000,000 guaranteed GPPT Online to be organized this year.
Players who register to Partypoker through Rakerace.com can also participate in plenty of exclusive promotions in June, including a $4,000 exclusive cash race and a Battle of Malta points race where we give away VIP package worth €1,410 to the Battle of Malta live tournament.
