Györgyi, who used to work as metalworker, used to play poker to kill some time. He decided to play a €5 online qualifier to the €5,300 EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event and ended up 5th for €184,000. If this story wouldn't be enough itself to make the headlines, Györgyi made sure, he will stay in the hearts of the poker fans for a long time, with his crazy celebration and huge bluff:
A few days after the event, a Hungarian radio station reached out to him and had a short conversation about his future plans. In the interview, Krisztián talked about his life since Monte-Carlo. As he told the reported, he already quited his job and is planning to buy an apartment in Hungary. He also spoke about a possible sponsorhip deal with PokerStars:
"I will be in Barcelona and I don't wanna speak too soon, but perhaps in PokerStars' colors, as they reached out to us to have some talks. I told them I would be happy to sign because great things come with this but I need to consider how, when, what and where... This can't be decided in a day, my life changed completely..." - he told M4Sport in a phone call.
