Partypoker decided to make some changes in their tournament structures for the better!
Apparently, Partypoker really takes player feedback seriously. They constantly interact with their players on all of the platforms available through their Team members.
As the shared it on their blog, "The Power Series, our tournament schedule, has been a hot topic among you for the past few weeks an all your thoughts and concerns have been collated and gone through with a fine-toothed comb,"
They analyzed all of the data and are now ready to make changes, promising all of them coming into force before the $60,000,000 Power Series kicks off.
The changes will include:
- Bounty Hunters, including PKO events, will become freezeouts
- There will be far fewer re-entries on all other multi-table tournaments (MTTs)
- Late registration will be reduced
- Structures will be improved
The new "Smooth" structure - as they call it - guarantees that "the cost per round does not increase by more than 10% for the duration of the tournament."
Despite the deeper structures, the finishing time of a tournament will also be earlier, thanks to the reduced late registration and re-entry period.
Some changes have already been applied and according to Partypoker, the feedback is really positive.
