WPT announced their partnership with Partypoker LIVE, for "premier poker event stops" in 2019. The parties will host a total of five festivals across Europe and Canada, featuring WPT500, WPTDeepStacks, and WPT Main Tour events.
“The World Poker Tour is pleased to add more locations to our growing footprint in Europe and further expand our relationship with partypoker LIVE,” said Adam Pliska, CEO of the World Poker Tour. “This partnership’s inclusion of multiple WPT offerings at each festival is a monumental achievement for the WPT toward providing players across the globe with the opportunity to play in World Poker Tour events at all buy-in levels.”
The opening stop on the schedule will be Casino Sochi for WPTDeepStacks and WPT Main Tour events. The WPT Russia festival will be running between January 18 and 27 - this will be the first-ever WPT event in Russia. The WPT Russia Main Event will come with a $3,300 buy-in and a $1,500,000 GTD.

The second venue will be Casino Barcelona, during March 9-17 for the WPT Barcelona festival. “Casino Barcelona welcomes back the WPT and looks forward to resuming our great partnership,” said Raúl Horta, Poker Director of Casino Barcelona. “The diverse offering of WPT500, WPTDeepStacks, and WPT Main Tour buy-ins plus the €10,000 High Roller creates a schedule with marquee tournaments for all players.”
The Season XVII WPT European Championship will return in April offering 9 days of tournament action between April 6 and 14 in Dusk Till Dawn Casino, Nottingham. According to the announcement, the guaranteed prize pool for the championship will be £3,000,000.

In August, the WPT will be heading to King's Casino, Rozvadov (the home of the ongoing WSOP Europe festival). WPT Germany will take place between August 9 and 18. The owner of the casino, Leon Tsoukernik also expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “King’s Casino is delighted and honoured to welcome a WPT Main Tour event to Rozvadov for the very first time. This marks the opening of another exciting chapter in the growth of Europe’s largest poker room.”
The final stop will be hosted in Playground Poker Club in Montreal between October 25 - November 3.
