The $5,300 MILLIONS Online wrote history last year when it crossed the original GTD of $20,000,000 with 4,367 entries. The final prize pool grew to $21,385,000 making the event the biggest ever online poker tournament.
It was Manuel “Sheparentao” Ruivo and Pim “ForMatherRussia” de Goede who took home the biggest prizes. After a deal made heads-up, both players walked away with a life-changing amount of $2,329,943.

The buy-in for this year's event will grow to $10,300 so satellites are even more useful for players, who can't afford to enter for this amount.
Those who move forward on the second-step satellite will qualify for the Grand Finale Satellite which rewards the top 10 finishers with a $10,300 ticket to the MILLIONS Online.
While players can't enter the Grand Finale directly, the $11 and the $109 tournaments are free for everyone.
The total prize pool of the satellites is more than $1,000,000 which is more than 5% of the total prize pool - meaning the field in the major event will include many qualifiers.
In addition to the satellites, players can win tickets through other promotions as well. The 'Day 1A $1,000 Bonus' promotion will reward players with $1,050 PP Live Dollar tickets, and those who accumulate $10,300 worth of tickets can use them to enter the MILLIONS Online.
Unlike last year, where the event ran with five starting flights, only Day 1A and 1B will be offered this year.
The first satellite final runs on September 22. Partypoker MILLIONS Online will run December 1 to 10.
