888Poker’s On the Hunt for New Twitch Streamer Using the Stream On Campaign

This month, 888poker is launching public auditions to find their next Twitch ambassador. You heard that right. Participation will be available to any Twitch streamer who fulfils the required conditions. However, what conditions are there, and what are the rewards for being chosen?

Poker and Twitch

Twitch has always been one of the central platforms poker networks use to grow their audience. GGPoker, partypoker, PokerStars, and other industry-leading platforms boast Twitch channels. It especially became a trend in 2020 and 2021, when the platform showed unprecedented growth.

Policy changes might mean its dominance has waned, but it isn’t obsolete. As their new campaign shows, 888poker believes the platform still has its benefits.

Stream On Campaign

The Stream On Campaign has a registration period until March 15th. The “audition” Twitch streams will run until April 15th, giving streamers a month to show their mettle. Twitch streamers who want to participate must be at least 25 years old and fulfil specific conditions.

Participation Requirements

Streamers who want to try to become the ambassador must complete the following conditions:

• Streamers must become members of the 888poker Discord community.
• They must complete the application form found on the network’s official site.
• Join and maintain membership of Team 888poker - Stream On available on Twitch.

For those selected to take part in the second phase, they must satisfy the following conditions while streaming:

• Play their favourite games exclusively on 888poker while broadcasting on Twitch.
• Display “BeGambleAware 18+” for UK streams and “Gambling can be harmful, play responsibly” for non-UK streams.
• Set all streams to the Mature Audience setting.
• Start all stream titles with “888poker Stream On.
• There should be no offensive or inappropriate behaviour or language, and streamers shouldn’t violate the room’s terms and conditions.

Rewards for Participating

Anyone seriously participating in this campaign will receive a reward from the room. The rewards will be:

• $22 tournament tickets - Any participant who streams at least four hours weekly.
• $55 tournament tickets - Any participant who streams at least six hours weekly.
• $109 tournament tickets - Any participant who streams at least 10 hours per week.
• $109 tournament ticket - Participant who wins the “Top Moments of the Week” challenge.

The poker room won’t be the only one deciding on the winning streamer, as 50% of the vote goes to the brand’s Discord community members. The guidelines they will use to rate a streamer will be criteria like communication skills, social media presence, relevant target audience, consistency, and credibility.

On April 22nd, the room will announce the winner, who’ll win a one-year contract with 888poker and become part of the brand’s StreamTeam, which currently has seven members.
