Finally, it turns out that Costa Rica-based minor Yatahay Poker Network houses Doyles Room for the next couple of years (?). Cake has already been reported to suffer a 30% drop in its traffic while that of Yatahay is sure to rocket to show one of 2011’s rapidest increases in value. Doyles can be considered a name big enough to keep their player base and even attract a fresh player pool. Cake has thus experienced yet another loss, following Lee Jones and Serge Ravitch leaving the network. How they plan to recover (if necessary, of course) remains to be seen.
It is equally hard to tell, however, how Doyles Room will profit from the merger. People at 2+2 complain for the most part about poor customer service (or even complete lack thereof), cash out issues (which had been promised to be operational by last week), etc. We wish the best of luck for everybody involved, primarily for the sake of loyal players.
