GSOP Live Bucharest – Cancelled

Due to an unexpected change in Romanian law, the Ongame Network has cancelled its GSOP Live Bucharest tournament, to have been held between the 3rd and 6th February. Players that have already registered will receive full refunds.

According to an official announcement by Ongame (a poker network owning rooms like RedKings), the Bucharest stop of their GSOP Live series will not be held because of a Romanian law modification, on which we have no exact information at the moment.

The organizers will pay back all expenses to the players, including accomodation and travel costs. In order to receive travel cost refunds, players need to provide a copy of their plane (or train, bus, etc.) tickets.

According to the announcement, there will be no substitute for the tourney. The organizers of GSOP Live expressed their regret, and have promised to be more circumspect when choosing a venue in the future.
