The tournaments will take place at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas (which is owned by one of the league's investors, Gavin Maloof) and will likely to coincide with some major tournaments, such as the PCA and the Aussie Millions in 2012, as it turns out from the press release.
Annie Duke, commissioner of the league revealed the structure in the Main Event that is planned to last for 4 days with only 200 entrants:
"Because the Main Events have four or more days to play down to a winner from a start of approximately 200 players, we believe it will offer the best, most friendly structures for the skilled player out there. Great structures, no rake, and generous overlays are integral to our celebration of the best live tournament players in the world."
The event will have a $20,000 buy-in with no rakes deducted.
