Gabriel Nassif was out first, and then at Level 23 (8,000/15,000) Andrey Zaichenko followed. Level 25 (13,000/25,000) saw Kuzmin being railed with A K against Samuel Golbuff’s and Kim Nguyen’s straights. Finally, Nguyen and Woods got to play heads-up after Golbuff ran into the latter’s pocket kings.
Nguyen did not manage to repeat Vanessa Selbst’s success of 2008 to win a WSOP event as Woods gained the lead and even increased it to an extent that he was dealt into the last hand with a stack ten times the size of Nguyen’s. They shoved preflop:
