By the third day only 24 remained. The Brazilian favourite Caio Pimenta started out as chipleader with 607.000 chips, but Daniel Negreanu (398.000) and Humberto Brenes (51.000) were both competing, even though, the latter were quite short stacked. Brenes didn't last too long, he finished 23rd: he pusdhed the remainder of his chips, 34.000 in with K J (17th blind level: 1.000/3.000/6.000), Martin Santos called with A 3 and the board was 5 8 A 9 3.

Pimenta also couldn't make it to the finals. Gasperino Nicolas' drill beat him badly, and even though he doubled up, but he soon finished 12th, he lost his remaining chips in a flip against Daniele Nestola.
Negreanu will however be at the final table, with 702.000 chips he is currently 5th. The chipleader is Daniele Nestola who is currently sittong on 1.892.000.
