WSOP Event #11 - Vincent van der Fluit Delivers Bracelet to Holland

The final table of the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event got organized on day 3. The American Charles Tonne was chipleader, slightly ahead of Dutch player Vincent van der Fluit.

David Schnettler was first to bust, then Calvin "Cal42688" Anderson lost his chips against the skillful Ukranian Alex Dovzhenko. Anderson opened with a pot-sized bet at the 21st blind level, which got called only by the big blind Dovzhenko. Anderson put all his remaining chips in the middle on the {#}6 {#}6 {#}T flop, and Dovzhenko called.

Dovzhenko won with a full house. 
 
Brian Garbe, Rodney Brown, Dovzhenko and Damien Lhommeau got eliminated in the following hour. Heads-up started with the elimination of probably the biggest name, Tristan Wade. Wade, the shortstack went all-in against Tonne preflop.

Although Tonne was able to increase his advantage at the beginning of the heads-up, van der Fluit managed to turn things around and already started the 24th blind level with a double advantage. The last hand of the tourney came soon, when van der Fluit opened to 60,000, Tonne called, and the flop came {#}A {#}5 {#}2. Tonne checked, van der Fluit cbet to 65,000, Tonne check-raised to 315,000, van der Fluit raised the pot, Tonne went all-in and the Dutch called.
