Steve O'Dwyer started in the lead in the EPT London 2013 £5,250 Main Event finale with 5,270,000 in chips. O'Dwyer finished 2nd at last year’s EPT London final table and aimed to hit the top position this time. However, the likes of Rubin Visser, Theo Jorgensen and Chris Moorman were there to have a word in that, too.

Olof Haglund, who had used to work as a newsboy and is now a mid-stakes heads-up cash game regular since 2006, has soon gained the lead, with doubling up on O’Dwyer’s AK with QQ. Shortstack Tamer Kamel was his next victim, followed by 18 years old Christopher Frank, who lost a flip with AK against Visser’s pocket nines.
On Level 28 (10,000/30,000/60,000), O’Dwyer was eliminated by Jorgensen’s pocket rockets, only four players were left.
