WSOP APAC Main Event Finale Plays Today – LIVE STREAM

Daniel Negreanu, Benny Spindler, Russell Thomas and Winfred Yu are among the eight players of the WSOP APAC Min Event Final Table.

On the second day of the WSOP APAC AU$10,000 Main Event, 262 players returned to the tables of the Crown Casino. In the lead was Daniel Negreanu with 136,050 in chips. A late registration was still open and 15 more players entered the field on the day, making the prize pool total at AU$3,847,500 and the first prize AU$1,038,825.

93 players made it to Day 3; among those eliminated were Phil Ivey, who lost with A-Q to pocket kings.

The lead was taken by Winfred Yu: the director of Poker King Club, home to the Macau high stakes games, had 432,700 in chips.

On Day 3, WSOP 2012 Main Even 4th finisher Russell Thomas performed the best, making it to the top of the chip count with 1,677,000. A number of renowned players remained in play, including Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Yu and Benny Spindler.

On Day 4, play commenced for the Final Table seats. Yasar Gueden was railed first, followed by Raj Ramakrishnan, Michael Pedley, Joel Feldman and Tino Lechich. With the elimination of Jordan Westmorland, the non-official Final Table was set:

The FT bubble boy became to be WSOP Big One winner Esfandiari: on Level 22 (3,000/10,000/20,000), he limped from the button, Spindler from the BB raised to 75,000, Esfandiari shoved and Spindler called.
