Day 2 of the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final 2013 Main Event saw 268 players return to the tables, led by LAPT Brazil champion Victor Sbrissa with 224,800 in chips. Eventually, 105 of them made it to Day 3, when the bubble is to burst with 80 ITM finishes. The average stack was 151,714 at the end of Day 2.

Among the international favourites, several of the biggest names made it to the top half of the remaining field, with online high stakes legend Johnny Lodden in the chiplead (605,200). He is followed by online MTT money list leader Calvin Anderson with 472,400 in chips, as well as Noah Schwartz (453,400), Oleksii Kovalchuk (414,700), Steve O'Dwyer (389,200), Freddy Deeb (350,200), Daniel Negreanu (340,100) and Jason Mercier (321,900), for an illustrious pool.
