EPT Grand Final High Stakes Cash Game – Video

Parallel to the tournament events of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final, a massive €1,000/€2,000 cash game session took place, with the participation of Viktor Blom, Sam Trickett and Isaac Haxton, among others.

Organisers of the EPT Grand Final had been planning some extraordinary cash game action, next to the tournament schedule: a €1,000/€2,000 NLHE session. In the beginning, there had been to be a €1,000,000 buy-in but it was eventually “lowered” to €500,000.

Players to participate in the extravagant action included Viktor Blom, Sam Trickett, Isaac Haxton and Niklas Heinecker. The high stakes cash game session was televised but those who have missed it now get the chance to witness the exciting moments: there is footage of a total of 3 hours available.

We join the events right after Haxton won a million Euros pot from Talal Shakerchi, in a hand played parallel to the Main Event, hence the crew missing it. Shakerchi did not seem devastated by the loss and re-bought himself for €750,000.
