Day 1 saw 113 players enter, but with registration open until the end of Level 8 (200/800/1,600) on Day 2, a final prize pool was not set. At the end of the day, WPT champion Will Failla topped the field of 91 with 276,000 in chips. On the second event day, a number of notable pros joined the pool, including Phil Ivey, Jeremy Ausmus, Ben Lamb, Ben Hamnett, Jason Mercier, Brock Parker, Brian Rast, Dan O'Brien, Galen Hall and Phil Hellmuth. The prize pool was set at $3,540,500 with 15 ITM finishes:

67 players managed to secure a return on Day 3, with WPT Bestbet Open winner Mike Linster taking the lead with 744,000 in chips and accompanied by a number of renowned players in the top of the field, like Dan Shak (617,300), Antonio Esfandiari (536,100), Babakhani (491,000), Jake Cody (453,500) and Chino Rheem (396,5000).
The event day ended with only 24 players left and yet another change in the top position of the leaderboard: Babakhani has the most chips, 1,220,000 to be precise. The Top 10 is currently as follows:

Also, the contest is still on for the WPT Player of the Year title. As current leader Matt Salsberg got eliminated, Jonathan Roy and Babakhani both have a shot at taking down the title as well – even though they are going to have to win the tournament to best Salsberg.
