WSOP 2013 - Event #5 - Gorodinsky Wins His First Bracelet

The WSOP Event #5 $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo tournament Day 3 started with 19 players. David 'Bakes' Baker came to be the first to be eliminated, Mike Matusow finished 14th, Daniel Negreanu 12th.

Even though the final table was 8-handed, 9 players were reseated to the final table.

Dustin Leary, Julie Schneider and Mack Lee were eliminated next, then yesteryear's SCOOP Player of the Year George Danzer followed suit. Danzer went all-in on the 6th street against Matthew Ashton, already pot committed:

Ashton took the pot with a three of a kind.

George Fotiadis finished 5th, Owais Ahmed 4th, the heads-up formulated with the elimination of Ashton.

Mike Gorodinsky - 730.000

Gorodinsky managed to take the lead and won the tournament with a Stud-8 hand. They went all-in on the 4th street, By the 6th street, Tong was already drawing dead.

Gorodinsky won the tournament with a straight.

Mike Gorodinsky already played a WSOP final table last year at the $2,500 10 Game - Six Handed tournament and finished 6th. This is his first victory at the World Series of Poker.
