Players began dropping out quickly afterwards, Todd Barlow, Alexander Kostritsyn, George Danzer, Shawn Buchanan, Julie Schneider, and this year's NBC Heads-Up champion Mike Matusow all missed out on the final table.
The bubble boy came to be the WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel, who was beaten by Robert Mizrachi. In a hand where Jeff Lisandro raised all-in with 24,000, Zhukov and Duhamel called, and Duhamel was defeated. He became short stacked and in the next hand he was beaten by Robert Mizrachi.
