Scott eventually finished 17th, losing her stack to Cunningham in a flip, and Benger was out in 4th, running into Peter Hengsakul’s cooler king on the river for trips with pocket rockets. Hengsakul then eliminated five times WSOP champion Cunningham in 10th to set up the finale.

David Nicholson opened the line of eliminations and Fred Berger, Richard Dubini, Matt Berkey as well as Joao Dorneles Neto followed. Favourite Fierro was out in 4th: after Jared Hamby doubled up on him in a flip, and then he shoved his remaining chips on Level 27 (5,000/25,000/50,000) from the BB on Hengsakul’s raise all-in for 5,500,000 and original better Allan Vrooman also called all-in with 710,000 from UTG.

Vrooman won the pot with a set.
A couple of hands later, Hengsakul called Vrooman’s 4-bet all-in for 1,700,000 in chips and showed K-Q. Vrooman had pocket eights but Hengsakul’s hand improved to a straight on the 9-A-T-9-J board and the heads-up was set.

Early in the heads up, Hamby dropped down to only 1,000,000 in chips but he managed to double up three times to build his stack to 7,500,000 by the last hand. On Level 29 (10,000/40,000/80,000), Hengsakul raised to 160,000, Hamby 3-bet all-in and Hengsakul called all-in with 1,800,000.
