Day 4 of World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2013 Event #56 $2,500 No Limit Hold’em saw the conclusion of the heads-up play between Nikolaus Teichert and Vincent Maglio. The lead in the race for the $730,756 first prize was Teichert’s.

WSOP 2013 Event #56 $2,500 No Limit Hold’em was scheduled to be a three-day tournament but the conclusion of the heads-up play between Nikolaus Teichert and Vincent Maglio had to be postponed to a fourth event day. The lead was Teichert’s but it was nothing a major pot could not have changed.

Vincent Maglio – 5,415,000


Play resumed on Level 32 (15,000/60,000/120,000). The first showdown hand went to Teichert and, while Maglio managed to close the gap, his German opponent increased his lead further to a point of 5:1 chips ratio. In just 25 hands, the fate of the golden bracelet was sealed.

In the last hand, Maglio raised to 240,000, Teichert 3-bet and Maglio called all-in.
