Joe Serock followed and then Flowers, who moved all-in with K K and got called by Perrins, who held A K . The board came J 9 4 A 4 and the ace on the turn sealed Flowers’ fate for the tournament.
Thomas Muehloecker, Matt Berkey and Buonanno continued the list of eliminations, before the heads-up was formed on Level 30 (10,000/40,000/80,000): after a raising battle, Perrins 6-bet all-in and Berger called.
Perrins: K Q
Berger: A Q
Board: 8 5 K 9 3
Berger was out in 3rd place and Perrins had a huge lead of 10:1 over Arthur Pro in the heads-up.
Matt Perrins – 10,765,000
Arthur Pro – 995,000
Pro managed to double up twice in the first few hands of their duel but could not prolong the game: in just about ten minutes, the final hand came, where he called on Perrins’ re-raise all-in.
Perrins: K Q
Pro: A J
Board: 4 J 9 K 9
Despite being ahead, the king on the turn put Pro behind and it was all over with the river, Perrins winning the tournament.
