Hungarian rapper and media personality Peter “Majka” Majoros, known for his viral satirical video "Csurran, cseppen", has once again stepped into the spotlight—this time for an entirely different reason. The celebrity artist reached the final table of the WPT Slovakia Championship, finishing 4th in what was his strongest live poker performance to date.
From Protest Music to the Felt
While best known as a rapper and television figure, Majka is also a respected amateur player in the Hungarian poker scene. He frequently appears at regional tournaments and is well known among local players in Bratislava and Budapest.
Though not a professional, his final table run at WPT Slovakia—a tournament with 589 entries and a €546,070 prize pool—is a clear highlight in his poker career.
Dominant Hungarian Presence – No Slovaks in the Final
Interestingly, no Slovak players reached the final table of this Slovakia-based WPT event, while three Hungarians finished in the top four. This dominance highlights the strength of the Hungarian poker scene, which has produced several internationally recognized players, including
– Laszlo “omaha4rollz” Bujtas
– Andras “probirs” Nemeth
– Peter “Belabacsi” Traply
– Bernard “boerni21” Larabi
– Gergely “Wildace_hun” Kulcsar.
Among the WPT Slovakia finalists was Laszlo Molnar, a respected high-stakes pro known online as “lackoo87gcb”, who eventually finished as runner-up.
Deal at Four-Handed Play
As the tournament reached its final four, Majka was joined by fellow Hungarians Laszlo Molnar and Attila Pergel, along with Greece’s Artemios Fournaris. With deep stacks and a slow pace, the players agreed to an ICM deal before the 100,000/200,000 level. The payouts locked in were:
- Attila Pergel – €66,250
- Artemios Fournaris – €61,250
- Majka – €57,920
- Laszlo Molnar – €56,250
An additional €10,000 and a €12,000 WPT Las Vegas package were reserved for the winner, while second place would receive an extra €5,000.
Majka Finishes 4th
Despite doubling up at one point with pocket queens against Molnar’s pocket jacks, Majka eventually lost momentum during the long four-handed phase. He was eliminated when he moved all-in from the button with J♥9♥, and Fournaris called from the small blind with A♠5♠. The board ran out K–3–A–2–5, sending Majka to the rail in 4th place for €57,920.
The Rapper Who Took On Orban
Majka gained international attention earlier in 2025 with his bold music video "Csurran, cseppen", a satirical critique of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his government. Set in the fictional country of “Bindzsisztán,” the video depicted a corrupt official confessing to various misdeeds under truth serum during a live TV interview.
The video quickly went viral, surpassing 22 million views on YouTube. It also featured Hungarian poker players Tamas Konya and Gergo Fekete in cameo roles.
Not Just a Celebrity Player
Majka’s appearance at the WPT Slovakia final table wasn’t just a novelty. His focused, strategic play over a long tournament confirmed what many in Hungary’s poker community already knew: he takes the game seriously.
While his career may be rooted in music and media, his growing presence in poker adds another dimension to his public persona.
