Eugene Katchalov was the first to leave, followed by Gabe Kaplan, Tyler Smith, Gregory Brooks and John Morgan. Soon Dan Shak also felted, leaving only 10 players at the table. Erik Seidel, who booked a fantastic year so far (he won the NBC National Heads-Up Championship, the L.A. Poker Classic High Roller and the Aussie Millions Super High Roller) managed to work his way through from being short-stacked to being second in chips.

Seidel started out great, he eliminated Rick Salomon with a three of a kind. Not much later, Ashton Griffin, Sam Trickett and Randy Dorfman. Only one player had to go for the bubbble to burst. On the 16th blind level (4.000/15.000/30.000), after all else folded, Vivek Rajkumar went pre-flop all-in, where only the shortstack Cary Katz called from the BB. Katz showed A Q , Rajkumar K 2 , but it wasn't luck for Katz, his ace didn't hold, the river brought 2 , and Katz was out.
Soon the short-stacked Bonomo pushed all-in from the button with his remaining 510,000 chips, Lindgren called.

They played the heads-up until the 20th level (10.000/40.000/80.000), when Jack McClellant, tournament supervisor offered players they can continue the match tomorrow, since it was late, and everyone was tired. Both players agreed, they will continue the battle today. The 8-times WSOP champion Seidel is on the brink of another huge win. We'll see how he performs soon.
