Kremser is considered one of the most accomplished of tournament directors and has been in charge of events like the World Poker Tour, European Poker Tour, Late Night Poker and many others. He founded TK Poker Events, his company, with which he worked as the tournament director of the EPT with his own team of floor staff and dealers for the last 7 years. According to the press release TK Poker Events released, Kremser contacted PokerStars several weeks ago about some negotiation to review the nature of their relationship, because Kremser and his staff wre quite unsure about the Black Friday's aftermath. The negotiotiations broke down, TK Poker Events will no longer be associated with The European Poker Tour.
For this occasion, the company released a "Thank you video", in which they thank all players, casino employees, and most importantly Isai Scheinberg (founder of PokerStars), whose great ideas made their partnership prosperous.
"The time is right to explore new adventures and also to adjust our business model to emphasize closer cooperation with licensed casino operators."
PokerStars is now left without a floor staff, which is a serious blow to the company, they have to find an entire crew of dealers and floor staff if they want to organize Season 8 of the EPT as planned.
