Originally, HM2 would have been released in early September but the development team was not able to keep the deadline; release of the software is now scheduled for the second half of October. They hope that the recent update was the last major one before the product launches, but there are still minor issues left to fix until then.
The update brought about a new design, the dark theme, which resembles the original HM, although the light theme also remains as optional. The greatest advancement, however, affected performance issues, like loading time and generating reports. In order to improve these, the user interface was changed: a number of static windows are now gone (replayer, hand history grid, graphs) and replaced by new floating ones.
Meanwhile, the HM2 development team stated that launching the final version does not at all mean that they stop improving their product even further:
“Yes, there is more functionality to be added to HM2 even after it goes on sale. Build-Your-Own-Stats, powerful new exception-based reporting in the HUD and a free version of HM Vision,” can be expected later on.
