GGPoker Launches Streamer Mode to Revive Poker on Twitch

GGPoker, the world’s largest online poker site, has introduced Streamer Mode, a new feature designed to revitalize poker live streaming on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.

The program offers 100% cashback to players who broadcast their sessions, along with tools to make streaming smoother and more professional. To qualify, applicants must:

• Have streamed poker content for at least three months.
• Maintain an average of 40 concurrent viewers.

Once accepted, Streamer Mode becomes available in the GGPoker client. Streamers also receive a custom avatar border and simply need to link their channel before going live. Abuse or manipulation of the system can result in removal.

According to GGPoker, “poker streaming is dying.” Twitch poker viewership has dropped 44.2% year-over-year in 2025, with declines in both total watch time and peak viewership. However, the number of active poker streaming channels has risen by nearly 9%, showing growing interest despite shrinking audiences.

Streamer Mode provides technical features directly inside the GGPoker client, eliminating the need for third-party overlays:

Other poker operators have previously experimented with streaming incentives. PokerStars introduced Twitch rewards in 2019, while the now-defunct Run It Once Poker ran its StreamR program with rakeback up to 110% for high-volume streamers. PartyPoker and ACR Poker have also offered streamer bonuses.
