Jake Cody won the WSOP $25,000 Heads-Up Championship event. The 22 years old British pro earned over $850,000 and joined Gavin Griffin and Roland de Wolfe as the only Triple Crown (a WPT title, an EPT title and a WSOP title) winners on earth.

Although Phil Hellmuth was in the lead for most the WSOP $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball finale, John Juanda eventually came back in the heads-up and won the event with an excellent game.

Phil’s second chance to grab his 12th WSOP bracelet came with the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low event. Ultimately, however, he lost the heads-up once again, this time to Eric Rodawig.
