Marco Tempest is a Swiss magician, or as he is mosty regarded as, a cyber-illusionist. He gained recognition for his amazing iPod trick, but he employs groundbreaking technology in almost all of his acts. One of his most recent performances happened this June at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), a conference series, where he awed the crowd with the use of Google's recent invention, Project Glass.

The suits, numbers and colors in a deck of cards correspond to the seasons, moon cycles and calendar. Marco Tempest straps on augmented reality goggles and does a card trick like you’ve never seen before, weaving a lyrical tale as he deals - as Tempest's TED presentation.
The Sapling Foundation, the non-profit foundation behind TED was brought to life in 1996, but the first TED expo was already organized in 1984 as a one-time event only, but in the end it was organized every year since 1990. Conferences were held throughout Asia and Europe, and are usually streamed online to facilitate a much bigger audience. Among the presenters there often appear great minds and prevalent figures of the 21st century. Enjoy the video!
