The Holdem Manager blog writes the following:
"We are excited to introduce online poker players to the world's first cloud based hand database with an integrated remotely hosted heads-up display.
You don't need to install a database because hands are not stored on your computer. HM Cloud also doesn't rely on your computer to perform a single calculation or retrieve any statistics on you or your opponents.
The HM Cloud local client you install on your computer only performs two functions: (i) it forwards new hand histories received to HM Cloud and (ii) it receives updated HUD data from HM Cloud and displays it on your tables."
The newest version of the popular poker analytics application does not have a price tag yet, the developers are still assessing the value of their product. The cloud data will be protected by state of the art security measures to ensure privacy of user data. There are sharing features planned, but players won't be able to share their full database in the future.
If you are interested in testing the software, and are a current HM2 owner, write an email to HMCloud@holdemmanager.com with your HM2 email address, HM forums username, played sites, cash/tourney preference, database size and cultural settings used.
