Phil Hellmuth saying goodbye to his good years?
The UB pro, who has won 11 bracelets and who considers himself the best poker player in the world, is now only the 4th in the All Time Money List with $12,440,926.
The poker pro usually goes all-in with stronger cards nowadays, and nearly at all times gets beat by worse cards, with the luck of his (mostly weaker, or less seasoned) opponents.
As an example, see this video. It's the PokerStars Big Game show, where he lost consecutively like this. With A-9 Hellmuth went all-in against an amateur player, Wiggins, whose K-K hand he beat easily with the 10-9-9 flop. The two players agreed to deal the turn-river 4 times, and despite Hellmuth's 90% chance of winning, he got beat 3 times out of 4.
The number one primadonna of poker usually has issues with dealing his bad beats, he is often on a tilt and becomes aggressive. It is a shame that the once best poker player is now only known for his ridiculous entrances, scandals and breakdowns after tilts. We are sorry to say that, but it seems that his time is over, the new generation might be too much for him to handle. However, we're still hoping he can once again be himself, and live up to his name.
